Monergism T-shirt

tshirt.jpgHello everyone. I just received word from our friends at Monergism Books that the T-shirt I helped design is now ready for sale. The front carries the Monergism logo and the back design is based upon the beauty of Christ revealed in Revelation 5:9 – “for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” The trick was in communicating the diversity of these tribes. Most designs around this passage emphasize Christ’s redeemed come from the whole earth (singular) rather than from every tribe (a plurality which is more biblically accurate). This design took all the land masses and boxed them to communicate the individuality of each tribe. Blood was shed for sinners in each and every one of these tribes. What a beautiful, globally-transforming power flows from Christ’s Blood to every unique tribe of the world!

  1. Well, well, Tony. Once again, something you do, never ceases to amaze me. From doing book reviews in abundance for Banner as well as now designing wonderful T-shirts. They look great and I will be sure to tell my friend John at Monergism to boost them on his site. Best wishes to you and your family Tony, and I look forward to getting the new titles out to you in the near future. Blessings, Beth

  2. Thank you for the kind words, Beth! … You know, one of the Banner’s great assets is the cool logo of George Whitefield. It would make for a great-looking T-shirt as well. I told Steve to consider it … It was great getting to see your office last week. Thanks again for all your work at the BoT office in Carlisle. You are a precious gift to the Church, Beth! Blessings, Tony
