  1. Hi Tony, Nice pick. Even though he happens to be my pastor, I must say he is the real deal. Wonder how I know? I know because I have played golf with him. (The truest measure of judging one’s character)

PS Also check out his sermons that he has linked to his blog for some outstanding Sunday morning teaching.

  2. Thanks Bill! I will look at the sermons. What great teaching you are blessed to sit under, my friend! Though I think your pastoral standards are a bit askew. :-) -Tony (who does not golf. How can I? It snows year-round in MN)

  3. Okay Tony, sorry I forgot where you live for a moment. Picture this, you are ice fishing with your pastor. He has on his line a trophy size walleye, he gets the fish half way out of the water with his pole almost bent in half and the line breaks losing the huge fish completely. (Like missing a 3 foot putt on the last hole to win the victory) watch this.. the pastor spontaneously breaks into song; “He gives and takes away…Blessed be Your name!” or he reverts to Mick Jagger’s song, “I can’t get no, no, no, no, no Satisfaction!…” A very small glimpse into his heart but a glimpse nonetheless. I know still askew…

  4. Oooohhhhhh, now I understand what you are saying. Thanks for speaking in appropriate tundra vernacular! But that Mick Jagger singing is a ecclesiastical concern. This should be addressed in small group. Blessings my golfing friend, Tony
