October 5, 2008 is the birthday of Jonathan Edwards (happy 305th!). And on this date the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale will launch WJE Online 2.0, a new 73-volume(!) digital works of Edwards, which will include the full electronic versions of the printed Yale Works (25 volumes) and another 47 volumes of unpublished, digitized sermons and other material.

Thanks for the info.
Tony,
Do you know if Yale has any intention of physically publishing the remaining material beyond Vol. 25?
That’s doubtful, Scott, although Yale has gained a reputation for their liberal graciousness in allowing publishers like Crossway, Soli Deo Gloria, and others to publish these otherwise unpublished manuscripts. So yes, look for many of these works to be available in the future, but not from Yale and not as part of the published series. I hope I’m wrong, though. Thanks for reading!
Tony
Thanks Tony. I have been collecting these other printed works of “previously unpublished” sermons as I’ve seen them come out. I’m glad I’ve been doing that, now that I know that that’s the only way we may ever get them in print. Thanks for the insider info. Thanks for posting on this!
It was fun to find in their mailing list (on beta-testing the service) the following line: “Special recognition is given to: John Piper and Jerry Stutzman for submitting the most number of bugs/suggestions!”
Didn’t know John Piper would test this kind of things.
