I protested this conference.
Ted Tripp gives much unsavory advice, including promoting spanking infants as young as 8 months, using implements to spank, and baring children for the purpose of making spanking more painful. Many in Seattle found this sick, and Mars Hill now has a well-deserved stain on their reputation for bringing Tripp to our city.
I just don’t understand it.
The Internet is full of people who have been emotionally and sexually harmed, permanently, by spanking, and yet Christians continue to promote it. It really disgusts me.
