Gosh, reminds me too much of being holed up in my private library carrell for hours on end.
I prefer space. Give me Spurgeon’s library, or the library of Alexander Whyte: soaring bookcases, titanic desk, hardwood floors, roaring fire. Lebensraum. Ah, now that’s a bibliophile’s dream!

I agree, Heath! And having lived pretty much only in bipolar climates I can imagine its freezing/icy or burning/humid most the time. No thanks.
